nice to meet you! my name is kiana.

Born in SF and raised right here in Vegas, art has always been a natural part of my life. Born to a hula dancer and a graphic designer, a lot of my values were shaped around storytelling. Growing up, I learned how to dance, sing, and act as a way to express myself. But as soon as I got to college, I instantly missed the one thing I loved growing up with: art. I picked up a camera for the first time in 2018, and it reignited the creative spark I’d been missing!

I truly believe that making and sharing art brings people together, and my goal is to do the same as your photographer.

My favorite kind of approach with photography is documentary style: think candid, in-the-moment shots, and fleeting moments frozen in time. I love to observe each event as it happens and capture the scene for what it is. I think that many can appreciate this style because it captures a feeling more than the subject itself, and I love to bring those kinds of moments to life!

When I’m not out shooting, I work in healthcare as a cardiac ultrasound tech. I also love trying out new coffee shops, daydreaming about the beach, baking, and traveling the world.
